Supervision

Aschylus is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the states of Utah and Nevada. She received her Master of Social Work from Loyola University Chicago. Aschylus is also a Utah State Approved Supervisor with the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. This means in addition to supervising CSWs, she can supervise AMFTs and ACMHCs. Aschylus is a level two AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy) therapist and Gottman Method trained. She also utilizes an eclectic blend of psychoanalytical and emotion/somatic-focused therapeutic practices.

In supervision, Aschylus combines the following orientations to help foster the relational aspect of supervision as a crucial foundation, uses insight-oriented approaches to deepen understanding and self-awareness, maintaining a process-oriented focus to enhance clinical skills and the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions, and psychoeducation involves offering information and guidance to enhance supervisees knowledge, skills, and understanding of various aspects of mental health practice.
